Go with gas powered. Very maintenance free and very reliable. Had electric for awhile but seems like when need it the batteries are dead. Usually ok with new batteries but after awhile they get weak. We get along good with carbs on our carts even use the forbidden e-10 in them LOL. We have an 08 and 13 and all we have ever done was adjust valves.
