![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=18938&type=profile&rnd=944) Central Nebraska | As a golfer I've owned several and ridden in many. Club car is the gold standard for comfort and reliability. I have a gas powered one that I used on the course for 10 years and then brought to the farm for yard work. It gets abused on a regular basis for gardening, grass pickup, chores, etc. I change the oil every few years. This past summer it developed a significant oil leak at the crank case gasket. I spent a day pulling the engine, repairing it, and putting it back together. It was also very useful to teach my children how to drive. I also have a 2019 gas club car at the golf course. Both my carts are adjusted to drive faster but the new one is way faster. Gas carts tend to be cheaper to own in the long run. |
