| It’s going to be hard to build a shop and get a contract with Boeing without a history.
Are you paying interest on your equipment? If not, keep it and get a job at McDonald’s to
make some spending money while you look for and land a better machinist job.
Once you get on your feet a little bit maybe you can rent a facility and start using your own equipment on nights and weekends making car parts hot rod parts for friends and get your name established and a reputation for high precision work.
YOU NEED TO START AT THE BOTTOM AND WORK UP.
One piece of advice and don’t take this the wrong way.
If you are to good or proud to flip burgers and mop the floor at
McDonald’s, I would suggest you don’t put your application in where I work. | |
