The relevance of a possibly feedlot adjacent field in NW Iowa is not indicative of the overall land market any more than a “swampy piece of undesirable land” (from another poster) that likely was just appraised based on CSR points, or whatever they use in NE, and not actual ability to farm.
Hence the big bad wolf comment. That good piece of solid land, the brick house, will hold and increase in value, while the questionable land, straw house, will blow over.
The O.P. Is trying to paint a picture that the sky is falling when it hasn’t. Normal solid farmland is bringing as much here as it ever has.
