I would bet everyone has had to make a choice between dream or doing what you want vs paying bills, putting food on the table, simply just making a living.
Sometimes you can get back to your dream…..sometimes not.
Sounds like you have some contacts ( engineer brother, your high roller friends). Use them to get a foot in the door somewhere.
I hope you’re not your own worst enemy by being to smart for everyone you’re around.
