Iowa | I thought that was a heck of a thing to say also.
One of the women let go is a family friend. She has ran the scales/did billing/contracts/etc. at an elevator for probably 25 years now and as far as I know most people liked her.
She was at another employer a couple of years ago.
Landus called her out of the blue to come run the scales at a few locations in the busy season and did everything short of getting down on their hands and knees and begging her to work for them.
