| All wells now have meters as of several years ago. It is a rolling average over 3 years. So far, we haven't been close but the last 2 years have had dry summers. Last summer NRD stopped allowing new wells to be drilled. In our area the water table has remained steady over decades but they apply these generalized rules to everyone, not just the areas where the water table has dropped.
