NE ND | Really wide open question depending on the vehicle. Gm acadias, traverse, etc have pretty complex timing chains. Many other cars are just as complex. Most of those under 180k with good, often oil changes will be fine. Over that maintenance is needed. I just drove the family from ne nd to central Nebraska 675 miles in a 2014 expedition with 312,000 miles. But I’ve done lots of preventative work and I always change the oil before 5k.
I think sealed wheel bearing assemblies are often overlooked. Those can fail at anytime and you are dead in the water then. | |
