Thanks for the info. What’s rest of your N program at planting since reducing rate of urea?
If you are asking me, it depends on whether we put down NH3. If we did in the fall, most of its there and the planter would supply the rest. We have gotten away from NH3 the last few years, and now are putting 75# or so with the planter, the rest gets Y dropped. I never cared for Urea in our mix. Too much separation, and the minute we get a rain delay, it turns to snot in the Montag. So we ran AMS at 100-150# along with the P and K after the first couple years. We tried liquid suspension this year in the fall. There's only 28# of N out there for the winter. The rest will get dealt with as suggested above.
