North of London | Always good to be a little skeptical but I would trust that site.
Have followed their reports and articles about the universe around us for some time and have never come across anything that was not based on info from creditable people.
If you scroll down on the site and article you will find a picture of the 'splat' where it hit as well as a couple larger pieces.
The gentleman referenced from University of Alberta, Chris Herd, PhD, BSc,, is a scientist who specializes in the solar system and is even working for NASA on the Mars rover program
So I am willing to accept it as an authentic meteor strike.
It will no doubt be a long time before another will be caught on camera
