Hooker Twp,Ne | County I live in I think every acre is consider HEL soils. They make us terrace the farms unless in grass. Occasionally no-till is excepted. Last fall there was a new gal from nrcs that walked quarter mile through bean field to get to a waterway. There was a foot by foot ditch by three foot long that started on top of a waterway. She called and wanted it fixed right away. We said after harvest. She threaten to kick us out of programs and the whole ten yards. Finally she agreed and didn’t take us 5 minutes to make it right with scraper last fall. An old employee can get along with but a new one is a different story. | |
