| I think this is good advice. A lot of things pencil when dropping water on a quarter mile system that the per acre charge on less than 40 might not.
How does the farm lay? I would look at the per acre cost of a small diesel with a generator to run the pivot, or a hydraulic drive (T-L) if service is available in your area. Or maybe even a lateral move to water the whole farm if it lays square/rectangular. | |
