SE South Dakota | I would at least understand the use of a diesel genset to provide electricity. Cost for your electric install along with the monthly service fee, then the demand charge, plus finally the actual cost of the power, it adds up. Not saying electricity is the wrong choice but clearly understand all that comes with it. You have what I see as yours will be a small irrigation system, the cost of the power with all the fees is going to be large, per acre.
