Are voles currently an issue in the field? We have been no till/cover crop for 15ish years and the voles are just beginning to be an issue here the last few years. Seems like it took them a while to build a colony/move in. So from my perspective, if you already have voles, the vetch will provide good cover from predators and they’ll thrive.
