Yeah, there is a bit of truth to that. I was trying to help out someone getting into farming (at that point I think they’d been farming 2 years). They used a coop for chems and application. If memory serves, they were at $68/ac for corn pre, post, and application. I figured I was around $22/ac buying via chem retailer, using some generics in the mix, and owning my own sprayer.
