379 Pete or a w900 kw
6nz
13 or 18 speed
3.70 gears
^^^^^^^^^^ after 20 years beating around in an international 350 light truck. I bit the bullet on a 04 kw w900l with 6nz and 18 speed. Hp at 550. Now I have no HP issues and rides like a dream. Hauling grain is fun now. Yes I love lots of chrome, mid visor, 7" straights, tall shifter, but it gets me there. My only suggestion is cat engine mechanics are getting hard to find. If you get a cat make sure there's a couple guys that's close. Id stay away from pacar. Pre def trucks come with a heavy price tag. But def trucks are a farmers enemy. Trucks are money pits
+100.
I did my time running those same caliber of trucks. Did they get the job done? Yes, they did.
But like you, I enjoy a nice ride, some good looks, and enough power to cruise around here in our hills without shifting. Hauling grain is enjoyable, I could do it everyday, LOL.
I'm a 379EXHD Pete man all day everyday, but I do like the looks of a fixed up W900L. Got any pics??
