SC WI | Put a MacDon on a R72 this year never plugged the feederhouse, cut closer and better than the 8200 did, I was hesitant to spend the money but it was probably the best money I’ve ever spent, can’t imagine cutting beans without it. I really like Gleaner but was thinking of a yellow combine, spent way to much time fighting the 8200, turns out it was the head giving me headaches, no rumbling, used less fuel per acre, cut faster, cut earlier and later, cut in some terrible conditions(had a 5 minute pop up shower).
Never ran the Agco flex heads but talked with enough guys that ran them and MacDons never found one that went back to a dynaflex. | |
