I think it is just the camera angle etc. I could be wrong.
However all magazines and bull studs use photoshop extensively. It is a scandal in my opinion. I got into it big time about 10 years ago with a bull stud salesman. Every single bull or cow in his book had a razor straight back which no bovine has. He claimed it was the way the hair was cut etc. which is nonsense. Look at the old bull books.
Half the cows on the cover of Hoard's dairyman judging issues have the same exact tail. Look at the pictures from 30 years ago and you will quickly see how the modern udder & feet are assembled on a computer. There was nothing wrong with the real pictures from years ago either. They looked very attractive.
