We have always seen around 60-65% yield of average on zero N strips. Nitrogen rates definitely have a pretty steep diminishing return curve, but I still want to try to error to the side of maximum rate without losing money if possible. We have seen years where 150 units maximized roi and years that 250 units did not maximize roi so best guess is all any of us really have.
