I laughed out loud when I saw the OP. There's about a 1000 threads, and no one will ever agree on trucks. Whatever you can justify for your operation for expense, most farmers don't put enough miles on them to matter...but some do.
I will say that not all trucks are created equal from a maintenance and longevity standpoint, but neither are the use requirements for farm trucks.
Our fleet isn't farm trucks, but we have a 2014 Pete 389 Glider, 2004 KW T800, 2001 KW T800 S/A, 1995 Pete 377, and a 1985 IH 9670 C/O that's more of a toy to haul our antique tractors around. All but the KW single axle we bought new...maybe not owned their whole life, but bought new and they found their way home at some point LOL
