Wisconsin | Define "eat it up"? Nothing will dissolve it once cured. it's not that hard to wash off when still soft, dish soap and scrubbing seems to work as well as anything.
I've never used it to patch a fuel tank, so maybe it will not last there, wouldn't be my first choice there.
I'm talking about canned expanding foam, great stuff, fill and seal. Not spray foams that come in barrels.
