MN | When I was in the National Guard my employer allowed me to take un-paid leave- that way I could save my PTO for vacation or if I was sick- I know guys that I was serving with that had state or county jobs still got paid their normal pay checks. Most companies won't pay you above and beyond your normal paid off time.
