Subject: RE: 5.0L in the F150 all have Cylinder Deactivation now?

I had a 2018 F150 with the 5.0 and ten speed transmission that i put 122K miles on. Was never in the shop, just put rear brake disc pads on. Traded it for a new 2021 model with the 5.0 ten speed trans and it never entered a shop. I couldnt tell the difference between the two. I did my own oil changes about every 6k miles on both trucks. I put 115k miles on the 21 model before trading it for a 2024 model again with the 5.0 L with ten sp trans. It currently has about 20K miles and seems just like the previous two. Good mileage, no oil consumption, just pretty good truck. I didnt realize it had cyl deactivation. I think the pistons are pretty high compression and my other two trucks kinda had a ting when they were idling but otherwise I had great service from them.
