Depends on the woman.

First wife, apologize and give her an inch she takes a mile. The transgression never to be forgotten. Instead stored in reserve to be brought up at some later new transgression date as leverage and verbal abuse.

Second wife, apologize and she forgives if the apology is sincere.

I tell my grandsons watch how your girlfriend treats her enemies. For someday you will be the enemy. Maybe for only 5 minutes. Maybe for a few hours. Hopefully never for days at a time. Something you did or said will temporarily make you the enemy.

If she treats her enemy with disdain, anger, revenge and hate, so will you be treated even if only short term. If she treats her enemies with thought and respect and forgiveness as is appropriate so will you be treated that way.


Oh, John those a wise words. I hope all here can file this away and use this to some one's benefit.
