I think lying in the bed you make in this instance is painting with a pretty broad brush. I think those who made the decisions over the years to remove dams to save species of fish that in actually reality have almost 0 impact on the ecosystem (and therefore straining and in some cases, completely eradicating any type of water supply for firefighting) should have to lie in the bed they've made, but to paint the entire affected area with that brush is a little much. That's like the old "you idiots voted them in" comment when much of the time, it's rarely much more than half that do so, you think the other 40+% are just as much to blame?
