I hear ya on that one. Probably best option is to go the day before if someone can drive you at a reasonable time and stay at a hotel and then take a shuttle or Uber. Not sure if hotels allow cars to be parked in their lots for very extended stays like you are doing. Hope you're going somewhere warm - unlike our trip to Montana tomorrow. We arent very smart chasing the white stuff!
Yes, it is some place warm......Mesa.......at least it is supposed to be warm, but I know there has been a cold spell down south as of late, but still a lot better than Iowa.
Skiing or snowmobiling out west? We did the Colorado skiing for a lot of years, at our age warm weather just sounds a lot better now.
