Would it be reasonable to do 2 one-way drop car rentals??? Rental car from your location to DSM airport drop, reverse the process when you get home? Worked for us a few years ago coming 'home' to DSM from PHX.
No actual (Avis, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise ect.) rental car companies local to this rural area.
