In my early days of farming, there was a joint study on our farm by OSU, the OARDC, and maybe SWCD. It was to compare the overall profitability of minimum tillage, no tillage, and ridge tillage. I had access to the data...and it soon became apparent that ridge till had to win, despite placing third (out of three!). Part of the reason might have been their new ridge till planter, a gift from Buffalo.
That ended my support for their "research." | |
