  Pittsburg, Kansas
 | There is a reef nearby that goes from about 125 up to 10. So it is easy to maintain depth and continue diving and seeing things while decompressing. I do a safety stop for about a minute at 50 feet then on up shallower till my decompression obligation is met on my dive computer. Then I usually spend another 10 minutes or so shallow just to give me a margin of error.
Decompression sickness also known as the bends really sucks, or so I am told.

There is stuff to look at all depths here. There is a seahorse at 20 feet I checked on while decompressing.

This is basically my back yard in the winter months. I have dove this reef literally hundreds of times over the last 20 years or so.
