ecmn | Fulvic, humic acids, carbon, micros, stimulants, root exudates are all things that make nutrients available from the soil and support soil life
AMF is adding soil life
It's all part of a nutrient management system.
So I use these products infurrow and foliar.
My plan this year.
All them products in furrow
V3 sidedress 25%N rate, with S and a quart if P-K
V4 sap test foliar feed missing micros, quart PK and source, sugar
V5 Haney test soil for N level
V6 side dress rest of N,S and quart if PK
Tassle drone feed sugar, source, quart of PK.
Any foliar or side dress application has to be done two growing points ahead of the point of influence
Plant test and soil test tell you what product you need and how much you need
I have been working on some fields for a fair amount of time now. and by trying to mimic nature. I have greatly reduced insecticide/fungicide.
I no longer need to buy map or dap phosphorus product. By eliminating bulk phosphorus my soil tests have maintained or gone up.
I buy some potassium chloride but a high quality liquid potassium at each side dress pass and each foliar pass can easily replace many pounds of potassium chloride
in looking how they are a component of soil there is not one tillable acre in this country that could not benefit from adding these products. But at the same time we are farming in a manner that we are bypassing the relationship between the plant and soil life. So could the soil benefit from it absolutely will we see a yield response by just throwing some in furrow or while you're doing a sprayer pass. Almost absolutely not.
How can fungi, micronutrients humic/fulvic acid infurrow or foliar succeed if we're also going to dump in fungicide, and/or then have several fungicide herbicide and insecticide passes? | |
