Planning on building a shop this summer. It will be a metal/wood hybrid frame on a two foot high stem wall. Which would be best, pour a footer and stem wall and then the floor, pour the slab a few feet oversize and then pour the stem wall on top, or pour the slab and lay block for the wall?
