| Do you route prep to the hotel, tape to dash if need be for handy reference. Use navigation or google on phone as well. Should be easy if prepared. Parking will be safe at the hotel. The closest hotels I have stayed many times that are easy walks to the AI are Palmer House, Fairmont, and Chicago Hilton. All great hotels. Much to do in summer, if you have been to EAA maybe you want to take a boat ride. The architecture River cruise or the Odyssey dinner cruise off navy pier is superb! Rush street is a great place to eat at Hugos or Carmines. Be careful and use good situational awareness. Travel in pairs or more and you will be fine. Have a great time! | |
