Or better yet a movable cabinet beside to access valves,vent and plug. Not too bad to slide out a little bit.
As far as vents. Use galvanized 4 inch.
Of course shortest length and fewest turns the better.
I maintain 45 household washers and dryers.
Clean vent 2x per year with vent brush.
And vacuum lint trap area every 3 months.
I clean vents from 3 ft. To 25 ft. Takes 5 minutes | |
