NE ND | I don't have the answer your looking for.
1. If you're in the planning stages and things can be changed put your washer and dryer against an outside wall so the dryer vent is short as possible.
2. I lived in a house once where when it left the dryer it was one 90 down into the wall then another 90 into the outlet pipe which was like 24'. A load of towels took nearly 1.5 hrs. Luckily for me it was against the garage wall. I cut through the sheetrock and installed an indoor dryer vent in the garage. Basically a big water trap for the dryer. So my entire vent hose was maybe 2'. Load of towels went to 45 minutes.
I'd worry more about how long and how many elbows you have before lint collection. | |
