| IMO, she lived her best years in the best era the planet has ever seen,and ever will. One where getting up, putting in a good hard days work taking care of the livestock and day to day business was generally enough to gain a foothold on financial security, slowly, but surely. I’ll bet she led a spectacular life. My Dad will be 92 on his next birthday, and horses, mainly drafts, were his life long passion. He was inducted into the Iowa State Fair draft horse Hall of Fame about ten years ago, so it’s befitting his last ride be in a horse drawn hearse. Many condolences. | |
