Subject: RE: Grandma's Last Ride

Ross County, Ohio
My sincere condolences. 95 years is a long life, especially for someone that worked hard most of their life. That generation was a different animal for sure, but in a good way. They were always moving forward. Didn't dwell on things out of their control. Got up everyday and put their nose to the grind stone. Her life sounds like a mirror of my Grandmother from my dad's side. She had a lot of heart ache and physical pain in her life, but always found a silver lining. Farmer her entire life. Milked cows and loved it. My Grandfather absolutely hated them. She passed away in 2007 at 90 years old. She made the best food around here and some people looked for excuses to drop in at dinner time. lol Made a mean fried chicken herself, but her pies were to die for. Her peach cobbler was the best I've ever had. The absolute best pie was the Strawberry Rhubarb pie. That pie could cause an addiction. I think about my grandparents a lot. Lost my dad in June of 23 and think about him everyday. Again sorry for your loss.
