It's the cooking. When I was a kid living at home, I was served round steak that you could drive nails with. My wife made round steak that would melt in your mouth.
I do more cooking now, since my wife is gone plus I'm retired, and I have found that an Instant Pot is an even better friend than a slow cooker.
