2/3tenant-1/3 landowner works pretty well here. Works best if there’s a split amount of corn and beans or wheat on the farm. If it’s just 1 crop grown, landlords usually love a corn year. If any FSA payment, it’s split the same way. 50/50 is still probably the fairest way but most landlords don’t want to be that involved. I just make sure I’m not responsible for marketing there share of the crop. Have it split at the elevator and they decide when they want to sell
