I wish rent was still 2/3 - 1/3 here. Would be a heck of a lot cheaper than cash rent. Problem with shares at least here is beans usually make the landowner around $100 less than corn.
What is normal cash rent? Couple years ago we had share crop landowners getting close to 500 for corn and 400 for beans, depending when they sold. Farmdoc has average cash rent for the county under 200…. |
