i don't understand why we can't just stay and become better partners with canada? wouldn't taking in canada be a drain on us? in the regard of more expense and less tax? plus the shock to their system of health care/tax would probably cause chaos. 

no reason we can't be closer to them in trade. really make since anyway. doesn't look like we will be going to war with them anytime soon so why not be closer without them coming into the US.
