North Central Illinois | A couple inches of snow improves crop winter survival and the sheep eat enough of it that I don't need to haul water, but it doesn't take much to end up with too much of a good thing.
Just barely double digits this morning when I moved my ewes to a fresh field of cover crop and corn stalks. Haven't fed a bale of hay to them yet this winter.
