Subject: RE: Will $9 a Dozen Be the New Standard?

One of my first jobs on the farm as a kid was gathering eggs. Don't recall how many chickens but has 2 chicken houses, each about the size of a 2 1/2 car garage. Had enough eggs that we traded eggs at the grocery store in town for groceries.. I absolutely hate chickens, though fried chicken is o e of my favorite foods. No wY in Hades would I every raise chicken no matter the cost of eggs. Don't like eggs that well anyways. DIL wanted chicke s, I told her she can have any animal she wanted here on the farm EXCEPT CHICKENS.
