This Blazer has shown slight signs that something is a bit off for months now. Even in summer sometimes on a cold start it would start up and go to fast idle,, then instantly drop to almost stall speed but not quite stop. Then just as quickly back up to fast idle and everything was fine. On one occasion on a warm start it actually stopped after starting and I had to turn the key again to restart. We ruled out the battery condition and connections by switching to another one that cold night but still nothing happening at the starter. Gauges all work, but no starter action. Ran the shifter through park to neutral but nothing.
