 Floyd County, Iowa | Depends on what the cold temp is. All fossil fuels put out moisture when burned, and if it doesn't have a vented flame, it's going to pump that moisture into the area being heated. Just a few degrees warmer than ambient temps, you're not going to affect it a lot.
I'm going to venture that you don't have to warm it up a lot, based on the size of your shop. 48x64, to 60 degrees with a diesel/kerosene Val6 tells me that either you don't get that cold, or you have enough air leakage to keep the air dry enough to avoid heavy condensation. Or you're not heating the whole building, but using the heater for a space heater. The moisture on your windows means you have humidity.
