Jap cars were not well received. Especially by old veterans.
Korean stuff kind of same way but at a later time. Now their quality is good. Neighbor (now deceased) who fought in Korean War would never even consider buying something built by "gooks". I bought a well used Kia once. Decent little run around car grandson totaled.
Times and attitudes change.
If we get in a shooting war with China, things could change there too. I hope we don't.
