Milford, IL | That was true here, at least 15+ years ago, Grandma and Grandpa have been gone that long. They went to the animal shelter looking for a house cat and made the mistake of telling the counter lady that the cat will be permitted to go outdoors from time to time.
Similar to the soup nazi "no cat for you!" I suppose euthanizing cats when the shelter population got too high was preferable to an indoor/outdoor life on the farm, unusual way of thinking. | |
