There are a bunch of different companies that techs use for cheaper scan tools. Autel, Launch, Topdon, Kingbolen
are some of the more popular ones. Most of the good scan tools will be in the 1000-4000 dollar range but they do
make some with the same or similar software just with a smaller screen.
If you want something to actually work on cars you need bi directional controls, reset, relearn abilities and can
be registered with auto auth.
I would look at the Launch X431 there are many different versions of it and some are around 400 bucks.
