It's kind of an old story. The company becomes big through innovation and then stagnated and dies. Similar to the story if IH. The new upcoming company will always be innovative since it needs something special to make or make it into a market. Like you said, it's a little biased towards electric vehicles such as no mention of their current shortcomings like limited range, cold weather, or charging times.
