Didn't the government try end the consumption of alcohol through legislation back in the 20's? That effort didn't work as planned.
Everything in moderation IMO. If I wind up battling cancer, my thoughts are that the sun, soil/grain dust, farm chemicals...or a combination of all three will be the cause of my cancer long before the occasional beer and/or shot of whiskey I drink.

Besides, as all of us in ag are doomed because we may have poured Roundup into a sprayer.
If a person abuses alcohol, a possibility, but anymore I'm skeptical of any advice coming from the CDC and FDA.
