Subject: shop machinery in cold weather, will it harm

East central Iowa

It's cold. 15° F and my shop might be 20-25°.  I can stand it to do some work.  I'm trying to get something made and I need to run several machines. Jointer, planer, band saw, and table saw will all be used to accomplish this.

I could run the mini split to maybe get up to 40° but it costs more than I want to spend to run and would take hours to get to that temperature.  The mini split has been a disappointment, shop never gets that hot in the summer to need air and it doesn't warm up to 62-64° in cold weather in the time I'm in the shop.

But my main question is, do I run the risk of damage to any of these tools when it's this cold?
